Ghostland by Duncan Ralston review

Ghostland is an action packed, non-stop thrill ride into the supernatural. Seriously. This novel never lets up on its gruesome ways and wants you all to know that worse things are waiting!

This is the first novel in a trilogy and it's apparent that this one serves as the bloody first installment to what I'm sure is an eventful end.

Our protagonists enter an amusement type park known as "Ghostland". In this world, ghosts are real and this playground serves as their resting place (even against their will). As the various "events" take place it becomes apparent that this park is much more than just a scare.

When the technology goes awry (which contains the spirits within), it soon becomes a battle of life or death as our characters attempt to find their way out of the park.

But, yeah, that's not gonna happen!

This novel is filled with blood, guts, and some exceptionally gruesome spirits but it's the story of the survivors that really stand out.

I loved the characters and I can't wait to see what parts 2 and 3 have in store here. This novel is gritty, dark, and written with heart. I highly recommend it!

I liked Ghostland, but it felt young to me. I think I would have liked it better as a teen or twenty-something.
